Baldwin is currently focused on an investigation into the death of Hutchins, who was shot dead on the set of the movie Rust in October.
The photographer was killed after a prop gun he was holding exploded. The film’s director, Joel Sousa, was also wounded in the shoulder and survived.
“I’m at home with my family, the only thing I care about is,” Baldwin continued.
“That’s right, the only thing I care about is my wife and my kids and I want to move on with my life, trying to get through a tough time, a really tough time,” Baldwin said in the emotional video message.
I wanted to say thank you to all the people who have sent me my good wishes and support, I am so grateful for that. I feel very embarrassed going through this. It’s been so hard I want to say Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas and Happy Kwanzaa. Whatever holiday you’re celebrating,” he continued in the clip, which appeared to have been filmed in the Hamptons where the family owns a home.
The actor said he’s been going through a “really tough time” since Rust was shot but there have been plenty of supportive messages in response to his video message.

I hope you are as lucky as I am in one division and that you are at home with your family. I’m at home with my family. Everything I have. The only thing that matters.
I don’t have anything clever or original to say, just thank you for the people who have sent me such great wishes. Be safe, wear a mask, get your booster. Don’t let Santa Claus fall down the chimney without a mask, Baldwin said upon signing.
In the latest development in the Rust case, investigators have issued a search warrant to Baldwin’s phone while local authorities in New Mexico continue to investigate the tragic accident.
Baldwin has not been charged, although the investigation and lawsuits are continuing. Authorities still don’t know how a live shot ended up in a firearm, and Baldwin said he didn’t pull the trigger.
