What a 1-2 punch for fans of buffalo bills. First, Bill suffered another setback against Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots, as they fell 14-10 in icy and snowy conditions during their week 13 clash. Monday Night Football.
Now, with their lifespan in desperate need of a spark, the Bells (7-5) head south to take on a familiar foe: Super Bowl champion Governor Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-3), who is played as a quarterback by the Hall of the Future. Brady and the Buccaneers scored their third straight win and lost 30 game points for the seventh time in 12 games, overtaking the Atlanta Falcons 30-17 in Week 13. Brady passed for four touchdowns (two to former Patriots Rob Gronkowski) and finished 38 of 51 passes for 368 yards . Chris Goodwin captured a record 15 passes for 143 yards, while Ndamukong Suh and Vita Fei Kesen added for the first-placed Buccaneers.
Sunday’s game is the twelfth ever between these teams. Tampa Bay has a 7-4 advantage in the all-time series, including winning two of its last three meetings.
The last time the Bills faced the Buccaneers, it was Stephen Hauschka’s third field goal in the game with 14 seconds left to lift the Buffalo to a 30-27 victory at Orchard Park on October 22, 2017.
LeSean McCoy scored two rushing goals, Tyrod Taylor completed 20 of 33 passes for 268 yards and TD, Deonte Thompson had four passes for 107 yards, then rookie Matt Milano scored a key interception to feed the Bills to victory.
The last time the Buffalo traveled to Tampa Bay, the Buccaneers won 27-6 on December 8, 2013. Buffalo had not won at Tampa Bay since the 1991 season, when Hall of Famer Jim Kelly hit Keith McKellar for 29 yards and scored in the fourth quarter to net A 10-all tie gives the Bills a 17-10 victory on September 22, 1991.
