Rebel Wilson gets into the holiday spirit.
The 41-year-old took to Instagram on Sunday to share a photo of her with her more than 10 million followers. The “Pitch Perfect” star appeared in front of the Christmas tree in sequin leggings and an off-the-shoulder top, and fans can’t stop gushing over her “amazing” look.
“I wish you were wrapped up under my Christmas bush by now,” the Australian actress joked in the caption.
Fans quickly praised Wilson’s festive outfit and weight loss transformation.
“You look great! So inspiring!” One person commented on the photo. “You look great.”
Another added, “Congratulations on your weight loss journey. You looked great before and just got better.”
Another person said, “You look great and I respect your journey to better health.”
“You are beautiful and fit! Go, girl!”
“I love your pants!” Post wrote. “All I want for Christmas is to look good.”
“You look great. Good job. You motivate me.”
Earlier this month, Wilson opened up about her 70-pound weight loss, and how she initially received opposition from her team.
She explained that her team wasn’t initially supportive of her lifestyle change because it didn’t fit in with the types of roles she usually takes on.
“I got a lot of shock from my team actually here in Hollywood when I said, ‘Okay, I’m going to do this year of health. I feel like I’m going to really change my life physically. “And they were like, ‘Why? Why would you want to do that?'” Wilson said during a BBC interview.
“Because I was making millions of dollars for being the funny fat girl and being that person.”
And she added that “being older” has never caused her self-confidence to fluctuate – it was her health that she cared about.
She explained, “I was still very confident about being bigger and loving myself. I would rock the red carpet and maybe twice as big as other actresses and sometimes even three times as big, but I still felt confident about it.”
“But I knew deep down that some of the emotional eating behaviors I was having weren’t healthy. Like I didn’t need a bowl of ice cream every night… It was me, a kind of psychedelic feeling using food, which wasn’t the healthiest thing.” “.
