Hawkeye Director Was Worried the Mid-Credits Scene Would Upset Fans

Hawkeye’s director, Rhys Thomas, initially revealed that he thought the mid-credits scene for the Disney+ project would either upset or disappoint fans.

While the mid- and post-credits scenes are a standard part of Marvel Cinematic Universe projects, Disney+’s Hawkeye has taken things in a slightly different direction, showing part of the universe found in Rogers: The Musical, which centers on the life of Steve Rogers/Captain America.
