Kathie Lee Gifford reveals son Cody, wife Erika Brown are expecting a baby: ‘I am over a blue or pink moon’

Kathy Lee Gifford will be a “witch.”

On Monday, the former “Today” presenter took to Instagram and announced that her son, Cody Gifford, 31, and wife Erica Brown are expecting a baby.

The 68-year-old shared a touching video with her nearly 500,000 followers showing the couple dancing on their wedding day while Hailee Reinhart’s performance “I Can’t Help Falling in Love” is played in the background. The clip is then cut into a positive pregnancy test.

The video ends with an announcement that Baby Gifford is due in June 2022. A sacred text, James 1:17, is also featured in the ad.

“I’m over a blue or pink moon!!!” The 68-year-old commented. “I don’t care. So happy for you, @mrsamerikagifford, and our family. Thank God for our life and love!”

Gifford shares son Cody and daughter Cassidy Gifford, 28, with late husband Frank Gifford. The patriarch died in 2015 at the age of 84.

Brown also revealed the happy news on social media.

“Gifford…Party of Three,” wrote the expectant mother. “So I’m so grateful to God for this great blessing. Knowing our baby’s gender the old-fashioned way – when our little ‘crush’ arrives.”

Cody and Brown first started dating in 2013. They married in September 2020. They celebrated the first anniversary of their second marriage. Cassidy and her husband Ben Warda also had a second wedding in November after saying “I do” in June 2020.

Last year, Gifford told People magazine that the festivities were intimate due to coronavirus restrictions.

“Some people put off the date of the big celebration, but my kids just want to get married,” she explained.

Gifford also indicated to the outlet that she felt her late husband’s presence during the festivities.

“At both weddings, we just felt like Frank was smiling,” she said. “He had an aerial view, I think.”
