Meghan Markle crowned ‘the most intelligent British royal:’ study

She truly is a royal genius!

Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, is “the most intelligent member of the British royal family,” according to a new study from Oxford Royale.

The education company analyzed the academic credentials of blue-blooded family members, looking at high school scores and the rankings of the colleges they attended.

Oxford Royal used the QS World University Rankings, which ranks colleges based on their academic reputation and faculty-student ratio, as part of its analysis.

Megan, 40, took the lead, as she graduated from the elite Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.

The Duchess holds a double degree in Theater and International Relations from the prestigious college, which is ranked 30th in the 2021 QS World Rankings.

An Oxford Royale spokesperson commented on the findings: “Living as royalty is not always an easy task and involves a lot of dealing with thorough scrutiny and life in the public spotlight, and Meghan Markle’s academic strengths have prepared her perfectly for the role.

“While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex may have resigned from their roles as members of the royal family, they have captured the attention and interest of the world, and Meghan’s desire to use her platform to raise awareness about serious global issues reflects her intelligence, analytical mind and educational pedigree.”

Meanwhile, Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, ranked second in terms of royal family intelligence in the study.

The smart, 39-year-old brunette attended high school at private Marlborough College in Wiltshire, England, where she earned three A’s in her final year. She got A’s in mathematics and art, and B’s in English. A-levels are subjects studied by British students in the last two years of school, which are necessary for admission to college. The better grades a student gets at the A-level, the more likely they are to be awarded admission to an elite university.

She continued to study at the University of St Andrews, which ranks 91st in the QS World Rankings.

Prince William has been declared the third smartest member of the royal family, having also studied at St Andrews. However, Kate was considered smarter than the future king, outperforming him in the A-level exams.

William earned A’s in geography, B’s in art, and C’s in biology during his final year of high school.

William’s brother, Prince Harry, didn’t even make it into the Oxford Royale’s top ten. The renegade king only had two A-levels in high school; Get a BA in Art and D in Geography. He did not attend college.

The royal family has not responded publicly to the new study.
