Prince William and Kate Middleton released their family’s Christmas card last week, the location of which is linked to the childhood of the Duchess of Cambridge.
Holiday photo, which shows a super relaxed side of the royal family – and Prince George in a camouflage shirt! It was taken earlier this year in Jordan, according to a statement from Kensington Palace.
It looks like George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3, are all grown up a lot in the sweet photo.
Although the photo differs slightly from last year’s holiday card location – at the Anmer Hall family home in Norfolk – it’s not an unfamiliar photo of Kate.
According to the Duchess of Cambridge’s biography page on the royal family’s website, Kate’s family lived in Amman, Jordan, from May 1984 to September 1986, when her father was a manager of British Airways.
The Duchess even attended nursery school in Amman for two and a half years from the Middleton family in the country.
Clarence House shared a photo from family time in Jordan showing Kate, her sister Pippa and their father Michael in Jerash.
Prince William paid tribute to the time his wife spent in Jordan in 2018 when he stopped by Jerash.
He took a photo in the same place where the Middleton family had their photo.

Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, also exchanged a holiday card fitting for the pandemic last week.
It shows a picture taken by royal photographer Sam Hussein of the royal couple wearing masks at Royal Ascot earlier this year.
