Peloton hits back: Ryan Reynolds makes an official ad after viral ‘And Just Like That’ moment with Mr. Big

Stationary bike company Peloton, which has seen its stock plummet after the fictional death of a Sex and the City character with its product, has responded to the crisis with an announcement offering an alternate end to the viral moment.

The 30-second ad, narrated by actor Ryan Reynolds, is titled “Unspoiler Alert,” starring Chris Noth, who plays Mr. Big in the Sex and the City and HBO Max reboot, and Just Like That. Mr. Page was filmed in the first episode of the reboot dying of a heart attack shortly after riding a peloton hosted by Allegra, played by Peloton coach Jess King.

Then Reynolds’ voiceover appears, referring to the And Just Like That episode while promoting the health benefits of riding the Peloton.

Says Reynolds in Slick magazine before she ends with another nod for the episode. “He is alive.”

Peloton stock is down about 75% from this time last year, with shares hitting an annual low of $37.67 on Friday.
