It was a festive treat for fans of the royal family when Kate and William’s family Christmas card revealed On Friday, December 10, in addition to reflecting on how amazing the entire family looked, many royal fans were quick to point out how much Charlotte appeared as the young Queen Elizabeth II, her great-grandmother.
A Cambridge family Christmas card was shared on the social media platforms of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this week and fans were quick to praise the cozy and warm photo of Kate, William and their children.
The photo was taken earlier this year during a private family trip to Jordan.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared the photo on Instagram with the caption, “I am happy to share a new photo of the family, which appears on this year’s Christmas card.”

Fans flooded Cambridge social media accounts with the comments, and many agreed that Charlotte bore a strong resemblance to the young Queen Elizabeth.
One commented, “Charlotte just looks like the Queen! So beautiful and well-balanced.”
Another agreed, writing “It’s a spitting image of the Queen.”
Many of the comments included similar sentiments, saying, “Very beautiful. Charlotte looks just like Queen Elizabeth when Elizabeth was her age,” “Princess Charlotte looks like Her Majesty!” and “Simply gorgeous. Charlotte looks like Queen.”
