See Joseph Gordon-Levitt as former Uber CEO in new Showtime series trailer

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is pumped big in the trailer for Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber, a new Showtime series coming in February. Gordon-Levitt plays former Uber CEO Travis Kalanick in the show, which is based on a book by New York Times reporter Mike Isaac. In the trailer, he totally sticks to the idea that a transfer service can change everything.

“We can conquer the world,” he yells in the trailer, while Uber co-founder Bill Gurley (amazing Kyle Chandler) is well aware that his partner is a problem. “Travis is a liability,” Chandler’s character says shrugging. Buckle up, riders, this is going to get bumpy – especially since we know what happened at the end. Controversial Kalanickwho resigned from the company under pressure in 2017.

Uma Thurman plays Arianna Huffington, founder of the Huffington Post and a member of the Uber board of directors. Hank Azaria from The Simpsons Tim Cook plays Apple CEO.

Although Super Pumped is the title of Isaac’s Uber book, if the show goes on, it will focus on a different business drama each season.

Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber premieres on Showtime on February 27.
