Sting’s daughter Mickey Sumner divorcing Chris Kantrowitz

This gotta bite.

Sting’s daughter, Mickey Sumner, has filed for divorce from her husband, Chris Kantrowitz, after four years of marriage.

The actress filed for an annulment in Los Angeles courts on December 21, according to legal documents recently obtained by The Blast.

It’s not clear if Sting and Trudie Styler’s 32-year-old daughter and estranged husband will be spending the holidays together this year.

Her representative did not immediately respond to our request for comment.

As news of her divorce spread on Friday, Sumner posted a solo photo of her wearing a festive dress for W Magazine.

Actress “Frances Ha” and Kantrowitz tied the knot in 2017 and share a 4-year-old son named Akira Rogue.

Recently, I spoke about the difficulties you encounter while raising a child with special needs.

“At the moment, Akira is nonverbal, doesn’t walk, hard of hearing in both ears, hypotonia, and global delays,” Sumner wrote in a article in April. “My experience with motherhood has been a roller coaster of emotions and mental health challenges.”

She added that she was diagnosed with postpartum anxiety and postpartum obsessive-compulsive disorder.

β€œOn the days when my anxiety creeps into me, when I worry about his future, this is what I always come back to: people feel good in his presence. He is like sunshine. My mighty little sun,” she said.

She also noted that while being jealous of her friends who don’t have the same suffering, she realized that Akira “doesn’t need fixing.”

β€œCan he just be allowed to be himself?” I asked at the time. “It was a deep learning moment for me. I’m still learning.”
