RadioShack returns to cryptocurrency

After filing for bankruptcy twice in 2015 and 2017, the century-old former electronics retailer plans to launch RADIO tokens as part of a “RadioShack DeFi” that will enable users to trade tokens via the Atlas USV protocol. Atlas USV is a project that attempts to build a global backbone for the DeFi sector.

According to its proposal, RadioShack’s new mission is “to be the first protocol to bridge the gap in mainstream use of DeFi.” By targeting “big companies, big companies” and helping them transition to blockchain companies, RadioShack wants to educate CEOs and the older generation of crypto users.
