For some, it’s Marty Funkhuser’s talk of Curbing Your Enthusiasm. For others, it’s super Dave Osbourne, the late night stand-up comedian. For others, it’s “Larry the Medium,” the man who sort of served George Bluth Sr. stunted development. But the late Bob Einstein, who died in early 2019, was much more than that. His career spanned to the 1960s, when he was part of the heroic writing staff The Smothers Brothers comedy watch, Together with Steve Martin. Finally, he’s finally getting the HBO documentary treatment he deserves.

Smoove, as well as Albert Brooks, his brother (yes, Albert Brooks’ birth name is Albert Einstein)—gushes out about a man who miraculously combines responses The gentleman acted and had a lively, even life-threatening sense of humor. Or as Sarah Silverman puts it, “The straight guy usually bounces the funny guy off him. But it’s both.”
There is great help from encirclement Clips into the trailer, and he usually explodes on Larry. (What there isn’t is his stunning scene in his brother’s 1981 anti-rum movie modern romance, as a well-rounded sports salesman who steals everything but Brooks’ new single bag.) Late Night with David Letterman And tons of other late-night shows that aired clips, long before Tom Cruise killed himself 50 years ago, almost killed himself for entertainment.
